This week, PERE Credit and the Commercial Observer featured RXR’s credit solutions platform and its hiring of industry veterans Steven Schwartz, RXR EVP and Head of Real Estate Credit, Annie Hsieh, EVP of Equity Capital Markets, and Greg Oran, SVP of Equity Capital Markets.
RXR’s credit solutions platform has originated billions of dollars of real estate loans in recent years across a range of sectors, including multifamily, single-family rental, and office.
In an interview with PERE Credit, RXR Chairman and CEO, Scott Rechler said, “We are big believers that the world of non-bank lenders is going to be much more of a permanent fixture, not just a short-term trend and that there is a lot of value that – if done appropriately. You can de-risk situations for the banks and their use of deposits by taking subordinate pieces or where they are the conduit and keep the ultimate relation with the borrower as their client.”
