Mizuho Financial Group Signs February’s Largest Lease at 1285 Avenue of the Americas

Mizuho Financial Group signed the biggest new lease in Manhattan in February, and will take  a 151,400-square-foot space at RXR’s 1285 Avenue of the Americas. Mizuho, whose global custody and related businesses outside of Japan were acquired last month by State Street Corp., currently has offices next-door at 1271 Avenue of the Americas. RXR and GO Partners Recapitalize 685 First Avenue

As reported in Bloomberg earlier this week, RXR and GO Partners have refinanced and recapitalized the 685 First Avenue, luxury apartment building in Murray Hill. With this recapitalization, the tower jumped 16% from its 2022 sale price and is now valued at $450 million. The 408-unit multifamily condominium was 98.5% occupied as of January 2025.
