RXR has signed two leases at its Midtown East office building 530 Fifth Avenue. Executive search firm Major, Lindsey & Africa signed an 11-year lease for 12,300 square feet on the 11th floor. Software development company Operative signed a three-year lease renewal for 9,750 square feet on the 19th floor of the building, where the company has been a tenant since 2019.
The leases “reflect the growing trend of sophisticated companies seeking highly amenitized and efficient spaces in close proximity to Grand Central Station — the submarket is arguably the most sought-after office location in Manhattan, especially with the recent addition of LIRR service to Grand Central Madison,” said William Elder, EVP and Managing Director of New York City Leasing for RXR.
The class A office building offers conference and meeting space and wellness-focused amenities such as rainfall showers, steam rooms, and exercise classes and events. Notable tenants in the building include Lionsgate, WHP, Vocon, Avision Young and Convene.
