Manhattan’s legal sector continues to drive demand for top-tier office space, with law firms accounting for nearly a quarter of all office leasing activity in the borough so far this year.
Notably, the law firm, Latham & Watkins LLP, expanded by more than 131,000 square feet at RXR’s 1285 Avenue of the Americas in February, just months after signing a 120,000-square-foot lease at the property, bringing its total footprint in the building to more than 251,000 square feet. The expansion highlights the continued appeal of RXR’s Class A office portfolio as leading firms double down on their New York presence.
