RXR and One Investment Management announced a $500M venture to help finance US rental housing focused on gateway cities and places in the US Sunbelt. In an interview with Bloomberg, RXR’s Chairman and CEO, Scott Rechler explains, “You have good assets that have capital structures that are stressed right now because of the change in rates or the lack of liquidity in the marketplace, and so this puts us in a spot that we can be creative and help solve some of those problems.”
