Burlington Coat Factory Doubles Sixth Avenue Corridor Presence at RXR’s 620 Avenue of the Americas

Burlington Coat Factory is moving to 620 Avenue of the Americas. For ~80,000 square feet and three levels, the 12-year lease nearly doubles Burlington’s presence in the Sixth Avenue corridor. Both T.J. Maxx and Marshalls signed five-year retail renewals for roughly 68,000 and 38,000 square feet, respectively.

This deal marks another success for joint-venture owners RXR and Hudson Bay Capital, which recapitalized 620 AoA in October.

“Virtually [620 Avenue of the Americas] is all leased except for 8,000 square feet where we have a great store coming,” said William Elder, EVP and Managing Director of RXR’s New York City Division.
