RXR Breaks Ground on New Residential Development at Garvies Point

This week, RXR and partner Chuo-Nittochi Group broke ground on the latest phase of the multi-stage, Garvies Point waterfront redevelopment in Glen Cove. This new offering, called The Arden, will deliver 101 new rental homes, including market-rate studios, one-, two- and three-bedroom apartments as well as 2,400 square feet of retail space to the growing Garvies Point community. The complex will also feature a landscaped courtyard with a firepit, pool and walking trail leading to Garvies Point Preserve. Together, the residential expansion continues to build out a new neighborhood within Glen Cove, transforming the waterfront into a 56-acre mixed-use destination.

“This groundbreaking represents another milestone in our long-term commitment to Glen Cove and the continued revitalization of the waterfront and downtown core,” said Joe Graziose, RXR Executive Vice President of Residential Development and Construction. “Garvies Point has already proven itself as a thriving neighborhood,” he added. “This next phase brings an even higher caliber of living, further solidifying Glen Cove as a premier destination on Long Island.”
