Charlie Harary is Executive Vice President, Chief People Officer, and Chief Organizational Strategy Officer at RXR, where he leads the firm’s human capital, organizational strategy, and culture agenda, working closely with the firm’s partners to set and advance organizational priorities.
In his role as Chief Organizational Strategy Officer, Charlie is responsible for the design and execution of RXR’s organizational strategy, including operating models, leadership frameworks, and decision-making architectures, and leads the development of organizational playbooks that define how the company operates.
As Chief People Officer, Charlie oversees talent strategy, leadership development, and employee engagement, and is responsible for organizational design across the enterprise, ensuring that structure, talent, and incentives are aligned with business priorities and support fit-for-purpose teams with clear ownership and accountability. His people-centered approach is grounded in education, continuous learning, and cultural coherence, with a focus on developing leaders at every level, strengthening engagement, and fostering a culture that supports high performance, trust, and shared values.
Prior to his current role, Charlie served in senior leadership positions within RXR. Before joining RXR, he practiced law as an associate at Paul, Weiss, Rifkind, Wharton & Garrison and Davis Polk & Wardwell.
Charlie holds a J.D. from Columbia Law School, where he was a James Kent Scholar and Harlan Fiske Stone Scholar, and a B.A. in Political Science and Communications from Queens College, graduating magna cum laude.
