The Urban Land Institute New York (ULI New York) marked its 10th annual Awards for Excellence in Development at the Ziegfeld Ballroom, where RXR Chairman and CEO Scott Rechler received the 2026 Visionary Leadership in Land Use Award for his work advancing major public-private development projects across New York and beyond. The honor highlights his leadership on transformative initiatives, including the New Rochelle master plan, the redevelopment of Terminal 6 at JFK Airport, and Summit House, a large-scale mixed-use project in Raleigh, North Carolina.
“I’m honored to receive this recognition from the Urban Land Institute New York, which has long played an important role in shaping thoughtful, forward-looking development. New York has always evolved through moments of change, and the common thread is partnership between the public and private sectors and across communities. I’ve been fortunate to work alongside people who are committed to building places that expand opportunity, strengthen neighborhoods, and stand the test of time,” said Rechler.
