New York Magazine highlighted the wave of corporate investment flowing into New York City, with major companies including American Express, Anthropic, JPMorgan Chase, Bank of America, Google and Citadel making significant commitments to the city. RXR Chairman and CEO Scott Rechler pointed to the renewed confidence among business leaders and the momentum he’s seeing across the commercial real estate market.
“New York City is back. The people who work here, live here, they feel the energy, they have the conviction, and they have every right,” said Rechler. “In our business right now, we are seeing CEO after CEO committing to the city. We’re seeing a record level of leasing in office buildings. And it’s not just for next year, it’s for 2028, 2030, 2032.”
