Scott Rechler, Chairman and CEO of RXR, recently spoke with New York Post’s Lydia Moynihan about the future of New York real estate. During their conversation, Rechler discussed the upcoming 175 Avenue development, the distinctive demands of the New York market, and what makes the city stand out from others.
“How much New Yorkers care about New York differentiates it from some other larger cities. It’s a commitment to this community, and to the city thriving,” Rechler said. “When people live here, they know they’re paying a premium to live in New York. So, if they’re paying that premium, they need to make sure they have a quality of life that’s worth that premium.”
